Sludge Drying Beds
Wastewater Impact on the World
8 Billion Litres
Wasterwater dumped into oceans yearly
2 Million Tons
of sewage, industrial and agricultural waste is discharged into the world’s waterways yearly
1.8 Million Children
under five years-old die every year from water related disease, or one every 20 seconds
20% Treated
Globally, only 20% of wastewater produced receives proper treatment
Sustainable Sludge Drying
The Sludge Bed Drying system is the most efficient and cost- effective system available for the sustainable treatment of Wastewater Sludge
The Sludge Drying Bed System can be utilised with an existing wastewater treatment plant

The Process
- Universal Drying Beds can be integrated without interference with the day to day running of the plant
- When integrated the drying beds have the capacity to hold sludge for six months.
- The sludge Drying beds can be filtered by gravity from the existing holding tanks or by pumping from the clarifier.
- Once filled, the beds will need forty eight hours settlement period (Decanting time)
- Decanter by inserting the slotted plate to the outlet slot and remove the inner blank plate
- Close by inserting the blank plate and remove the slotted plate at the end of the decanting process
- The effluent can go through UV and be safely discharged into the watercourse or used as irrigation
